We chatted to our VIC and SA Area Manager extraordinaire Maggie to find out how she started in the industry, as well as what she does from day to day.

I’ve worked at Bardot since… April 2010

I got my job by…Harassing the HR department every few months!

A typical day for me is…Visiting the VIC and SA stores and motivating and training the retail teams

People find my job interesting because…No two days are ever the same

The best thing about my job is…Seeing my team grow and develop- I have Managers that started as Christmas Casuals!

I’m most inspired by… the ideas my team come up with- it’s amazing what they do each day and they keep me excited

My favourite fashion trend…Our stunning chic look we have in store at the moment in our windows-it’s all about black, leopard and cream and its uber hot!

I’m mostly known for…Bright lipstick and big eyelashes

My best career decision was…To move to Victoria to continue multi site management

I can’t live without… Skype! so I can chat with my family and friends back home in Adelaide

Where I see myself in 5 years is… Hopefully in a National role- but more importantly, still in fashion retail!
