Bardot HQ is packed full of inspirational and Bardotastic staff. This month we sat down with our Marketing Coordinator, Sarah and picked her brains about all things Bardot, fashion and industry related.

My job is – Marketing Coordinator

I studied – At Swinburne and have an Advanced Diploma in Business Public Relations

I got my job by – Getting my foot in the door with another fashion company then slowly working my way up and showing lots of determination

In a typical working day for me – Lots of writing, budgeting, speaking with the media, booking shoots – everyday is totally different to the last

The best thing about my job is – Getting a sneak peek of upcoming trends before everyone else does

People find my job interesting because – I get to work in fashion and be involved in all the behind the scenes work

I couldn’t do my job without – Email!!

My advice to anyone looking to work in the fashion industry is – be prepared to work hard for what you want and never take no for an answer!

I would describe my signature style as – “Rocker Chic”

My fave trend this AW12 is – Anything leather or faux fur

My fave magazine is – Russh and LOVE

On my iPod right now is – A little bit of everything, from hiphop to dupstep!

Where I see myself in 5 years from now – Working in the fashion industry, having travelled the world and of course, having a wardrobe full of designer clothes haha!
